Ravelry Party

I love ravelry. I brings my inner geek and librarian together in a lovely knit centered frenzy. the fabulous people who designed it have done so with such care and attention to detail it is a thing of beauty.

I spent most of last night cruising through my flicker photos to find FO’s to post. I feel so prolific!

Thank you Ravelry.

Thank you.

Poor no more

2007June3006

I am sick and tired of being poor. There is no excuse other than my own fear and lack of self discipline. I am so deep in personal debt right now I would feel guilty if I died. I just owe to much to people I care about.

Here is my personal journey to being poor no more.

I am starting here:

31 days to financial freedom

also I find this interesting:

freezing your credit

though I’m not sure how applicable it is to me….

Salve for a troubled soul

Mother Theresa Quote

and is engraved on the wall of her

home for children in

Calcutta.

------------

People are often unreasonable, illogical,
and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank,

people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, some
could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the
best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

Now, I don't follow normal religious beliefs. I have my own definition of God probably not quite the same version the the good Mother followed. Mother Theresa was as kick ass as they come. The woman was truly incredible. I will happily take any words of wisdom she may have wanted to put out there into the world.

I have been feeling particularly surly lately. Really on the war path. Ready defend anyone who may want some defending because really I was just in it for a good fight. Perhaps this will help soothe my troubled soul.
